Dental Assistant Team

Our dental assistants will update your health history when you arrive. They take any necessary x-rays and impressions and can answer any questions you may have about your treatment. They work side by side with our dentists during procedures, assisting them while making sure your comfort is assured.

Robin

Robin,

Dental Assistant

Robin has been at Pike Creek Dental for more than 30 years, and patients tell us they look forward to seeing her at the office. She prides herself on being a perfectionist in all aspects of her job, whether she’s working with a patient, performing a clinical task for one of the dentists, or maintaining a patient’s chart. She believes in focusing on the task at hand, and doing it right the first time. But while she’s focused on the job, she also enjoys a friendly, easygoing relationship with her patients.

“Patients notice the camaraderie among the staff and the fun that we have together, and that makes them more comfortable. When you love what you do, it’s fun. The patients feel that joy coming from you; they can tell.”

Susan

Susan,

Dental Assistant

Susan can always be counted on for her sense of humor, which she uses to relax patients. She’s been a dental assistant for more than 20 years, but she still aims to improve daily. She says it’s something she’s learned from our dentists, who set the bar high and expect the same of all the staff.

“I truly love what I do, it’s an honor and a priviledge to be a part of Pike Creek Dental.”

Ashley

Ashley,

Dental Assistant

Ashley, a former medical assistant, went back to school and switched career tracks because she wanted more patient interaction. She gets that every day as she works side by side with our dentists, providing care for patients for a wide variety of dental procedures, from cosmetic procedures to oral surgery. She says she’s happy and proud to work at Pike Creek Dental because her colleagues take their work very seriously but are also so friendly to staff and patients.

“A dental office is not necessarily a place where people like to visit, so we go out of our way to make people feel comfortable and at ease.”

Dana

Dana,

Dental Assistant

Dana, a former hairstylist, went back to school to change careers. She has always enjoyed helping people look their best so having a chance to improve a patient's smile each day is extremely rewarding for her. Dana enjoys her interactions with patients of all ages and she goes above and beyond to make their experience as comfortable as possible.

“While hair grows back, your teeth are permanent! Even though I would give someone a great hairstyle, they still found it difficult to smile when they had bad teeth. I am thrilled to be able to help assist patients with their overall health, because your dental health has a big impact on your body, as well as your confidence.”

Kari

Kari,

Dental Assistant

Family oriented, Kari always likes patients to feel at home and comfortable while she is working with them. Having two kids of her own she knows how to be compassionate and patient. While in school, she studied Spanish and is fluent and does the majority of our interpretations at the office with all of our Spanish speaking patients.

“When I was hired as an intern here at Pike Creek Dental, I knew it was where I wanted to be. I interned at other offices and none of them compared to the atmosphere that we had here. Dr. Robinson has such high standards for us and we all believe in the level of customer service and patient satisfaction that he teaches us on a daily basis. Working here, just feels right to me!”

Liz

Liz,

Dental Assistant

Liz most enjoys building relationships with her patients. She is known around the office for lending a hand when ever needed and she prides herself on being very reliable. Growing up in a bilingual family has given her the chance to be a great asset to the Pike Creek Dental family and translating for our Spanish speaking patients.

“When I came to Pike Creek Dental for the first time as an intern, I was amazed at the amount of compassion and commitment that the staff here had. They treated me like I was a part of the family and they got me up to speed so quick. I can’t believe how much I have learned in my short time with the office so far and I am excited to continue to grow professionally and help make an impact on all the patients that I get to work with.”
